If your child was born and/or adopted in Illinois and you are hoping to learn about the birth family history or locate a birth relative, we may be able to help.
You can use the Confidential Intermediary program to search for your child's birth parents or other birth relatives. You might hope to exchange contact information with birth relatives, or you can ask your CI to contact birth relatives to obtain medical or other non-identifying information from birth relatives.
