“When I opened the letter sent to me and started reading that my deceased mother had put her first born son up for adoption, I was totally in disbelief. ‘She was my best friend and never told me,’ was my first thought. Then I got super excited to know that I have a living brother and that he wants to contact me! This was HUGE for me because I had lost both of my parents & all 3 of my siblings that I knew of within a 7 years period. I felt like an “orphan Annie” for so long. My brother and I have connected & he has been here to visit & I am going soon to visit him…This has been a true gift to me and to him as well.”
