This has been a wonderful experience. The outcome has been better than I have ever dreamed. After spending several years combing through adoption websites, registering with the state and having my DNA done, my CI was able to locate my birth son. It did take 7 months to find him. During this time, my CI remained optimistic and encouraged me to remain hopeful.  Although I have yet to meet him in person due to the pandemic, we talk on the phone for hours at a time, several times a month. I feel that I am the luckiest person on the planet. I will be eternally grateful to my CI for not giving up on the search.
